General Description
The apartment is 62 square meters and is at ground level. It has 2 bedrooms, one bath room (en suite to the large bedroom), one shower room and a separate toilet. It has been recently renovated and is decorated in a rustic yet bright and cheerful style and has loads of character with it's toasty warming fireplace, wooden ceiling, terra cotta style floor tiles and stone walls in the living room. It is perfectly set up for families or small groups of 1-6 people.

Bedrooms
The
master bedroom is a good size and has a double bed with 3 built in drawers under it (and room to walk around the bed). There is also a desk built in to this room, and a large oak armoire with hanging space and shelves and 2 bedside tables. This room sleeps 1-2 people.

There is a
large bedroom containing 2 large built-in double-door closets with shelves and hanging space, 2 bunk beds, a built-in desk and chest of drawers. There is plenty of space in this bedroom to move around and it also adjoins a bathroom with full sized bath tub, sink and large wooden vanity. This room sleeps 1-4 people.

Linens and Cleaning
Bed linens and a set of towels are provided  for each guest. A vacuum cleaner and broom/mop and basic cleaning supplies are also provided. We will replace light bulbs, and perform any handy-work  that might be required during your stay. Cleaning is done weekly if the apartment is rented short-term and can be arranged at an extra charge for long-term rentals.

Internet
High speed ADSL internet is available. An extra deposit is required to supply an ADSL modem, driver software and to enter our account information on your computer. This works on Windows 95, 98, XP and 2000. (You must provide the computer with USB port).
Living/Dining Room/Entry
There is a  fireplace (which doubles duty to help heat the apartment), a  living area with color TV/VCR/DVD player, a mini stereo with CD/radio/cassette player, dining room table with six chairs and a sofa (with pullout double bed ), 2 comfy chairs and a coffee table. The sofa can be used to sleep 2 people if  desired as a door does close this room off from the hallway. The apartment  could sleep 8 people given the bedding, but we truly prefer to rent to groups of 4-6 as there is only one toilet.

The entry hall has a closet with ski and boot storage as well as a washer/dryer, coat rack and shelves.

Kitchen
This room
is connected to the living room through a breakfast  bar with stools. It is a modern galley-style pine and butcher's block counter top kitchen with a tall American style fridge/freezer, 4 burner vitroceramic stove, oven, coffee machine, electric kettle, and all required cooking/serving kitchenware. Plenty of storage space in the cupboards for foodstuffs.

Heating / Air Conditioning
A combination of underfloor heating, electric radiators and the wood buring fireplace keep the apartment warm and inviting in winter or chilly nights anytime. A glacial river and thick walls keep the apartment cool and comfortable on even the hottest summer days.

Private Balcony
Accessed through the living room, on the banks of the Arve river catching morning sun with great views of Mt Blanc. Firewood is stored here. Reasonable use (daily fires) of the wood is included in the rental. A great place for breakfast in the summer!

Street Access
We are on a pedestrianized street, which is closed to traffic from 10am - 3 am. Public parking is close by or on-street parking can be found easily in low season.
