Apartment Booking Process

Upon receipt of your enquiry we will contact you with a rental offer and a request for deposit.


Upon confirmation of your deposit, we will send you an information packet on Chamonix so that you can start to plan your trip. Arrival instructions are sent upon your full payment.


A booking deposit of 50% is required to hold your dates. Full payment is due 6 weeks before arrival.


A refundable damage deposit of €250 is required on arrival. It will be returned upon departure provided there is no damage or loss.


Cancellation refunds:

up to 6 weeks - no cancellation charge

4-6 weeks - 50% of rate refunded

2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded

Less than 2 weeks - no refund


Payment accepted in French euro checks, bank transfer or via Pay Pal. A 4% processing fee is added when using Pay Pal to cover Pay Pal fees. We will send full details when responding to your request.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or on the balcony, without exception. It's bad for your health and your mother probably warned you about it.


Pet Policy

Well-behaved animals are generally accepted and must be looked after. There is no garden adjacent to the apartment, and you are in the center of town (parks and paths to run them are within short walking distance).


Chamonix is very dog friendly. You can take dogs into most restaurants and bars in town and on several of the lifts and hiking trails. Further information is provided in our ‘Guide for Guests’ in the flat.


National laws for vaccinations must be followed for import of pets into France, but in general traveling with pets over the French border is not a hassle (going back to the UK may be, however). Check both the French regulations as well as those of your own home country before starting off on your trip.

Linens

Bed-linens, bath towels, throw rugs and kitchen towels are furnished with rental.


For rentals longer than 1 week, linens will be changed on a weekly basis each Saturday upon request.


End of Rental Cleaning

The apartment should be returned in a neat and tidy state. Final cleaning is included in the rental bill, unless the apartment is left in a very untidy condition.

Changeover Day

Saturday arrival in high season. In high season, you may arrange a departure or arrival mid-week, as long as you pay for the entire week from Saturday to Saturday. Other arrival/departure days with per night fees may be possible in low season by request (May- June, September-November).


Winter Season Rental

In winter we rent the flat for the entire 5 month season from December - May. You may occupy the flat for any point in time during the rental, but must pay for the entire season. A signed French seasonal lease is required.
